Director McG confirms that Christian Bale is a badass actor that fully dedicates himself to his role as John Connor:

"Christian Bale wants to do everything himself: he's a guy who really likes to feel it. But there's insurance issues and you get producers to come out and sort of de-engage him from the hook which he's about to hang from the side of the building."

Terminator Salvation Trailer

The official US trailer of Terminator Salvation, aka Terminator 4 has been released by Warner Bros. Christian Bale seems to really give a new dimension to the character of John Connor. That's not the crying toddler from Terminator 3, he's become the man that will lead Mankind during the final war against the machines.

This new Terminator is said to be a darker take on the famous post-apocalyptic franchise. But this sneak preview of the trailer of Terminator 4 does not seem as bleak as the glimpse of terminator armies seen in the previous Terminator movies...

But one should remember that Terminator Salvation is the first movie of a new Terminator trilogy describing the End, the final clash between Mankind and machines. The sequels to Terminator Salvation will probably be much bleaker.

The first official teaser of Terminator 4, aka Terminator Salvation, is slated to be shown in front of the Dark Knight but it has already been released online in sparkling quality.

So in Terminator 4, aka Terminator Salvation, we won't have Vin Diesel who is busy doing , but we will enjoy the acting of Christian Bale and Sam Worthington: that's a damned good bargain!

Moreover according to Christian Bale this new Terminator movie will be a kind of reboot in the way that Batman Begins utterly transformed the Batman franchise for the best.

Terminator 4 is going to be an explosive blockbuster: It will blow up the box office!
